Refuah Shlaima List

Heal us, O Lord, and we will be healed; help us and we will
be saved; for You are our praise. Grant complete cure and
healing to all our wounds; for You, Almighty King, are a
                                      faithful and merciful healer.

                                     --- Weekday Amidah

We use this list to coordinate the community's activities and support for those who are ill. The Rabbi will use the list during mi sheberach prayers at the Torah, and those saying Tehillim will have these people in mind. For those in the Northern Virginia area, we can use the list to coordinate sick visits (bikur cholim) to hospitals. Additions should be made before 8:00 PM Thursday evening to be read on Shabbos; later additions may be added for the following week. (It's an automatic process; 8:01 PM means next week!) Please remember to remove a name when mi-sheberach prayers are no longer required. Names will be automatically removed after 30 days- note the dates following the names are DATES OF REMOVAL.

A promise to give charity in the merit of the sick is part of the text of the mi sheberach prayer.   You can click here to donate in honor of your loved ones' recovery; there will also be a link to donate when you submit the name.
