Children’s Shabbos Program Form
Welcome to our children’s Shabbos Program! We are very pleased to be able to offer this unique and exciting program.
Our responsibiliies:
To provide quality, customized programming from the hours of 10:30 pm - 12:15 pm.
Activities include:
- Welcoming the Torah in schul with family and friends
- Tefillah Circle (to practice the basics of prayer)
- Fun Shabbat activity (including stories and Torah Jeopardy among others!)
- A healthy snack
- Socialization and free-play time
- Encouragement and rewards (prizes, anyone?!) for positive middos (behavior) and learning
- Supervised transfer of your child to the Mussaf service
Your responsibilities:
- To bring your child to the program promptly.
- To inform us if you’d rather your child not have the snack provided to your child.
- If your child is not able to participate appropriately in the program that you will keep him with you in
services. Children may not roam the schul, its foyer or grounds unsupervised.
- A parent must be present in schul at all times.
- To consider volunteering 30 minutes of your time 2-3 times per year to help our program run smoothly. Please click here for volunteer opportunities.
- Payment of Fee $36 dollars per child with a family cap of $72 per year.
