Rock-cut Mikvah from Second Temple Period (1st century BCE), Jerusalem. |
The Mikvah is Open! |
A little history: October 7, 2005, just days after Rosh Hashanah,
through the Will of Hashem, the Mikvah was filled to capacity.
Both Bors (pits) were filled with rainwater, and the Mikvah
was used for the first time.
We have pictures of the first Mikvah filling, and the full bor.
See them HERE.
The Mikvah is available for Men on Shabbos and Yom Tovim. It may also be opened by request. Please contact the office for additional times.
Photos of the Mikvah as it is today are available in the Photo Gallery.
