Our dynamic and child-centered program is thoughtfully designed to nurture each child's intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development. Every activity is rooted in meaningful experiences that foster growth and learning through exploration and discovery.

Our curriculum is grounded in age-appropriate, developmentally accepted practices. The classroom is designed with various learning centers, including blocks, art, dramatic play, books, manipulatives, and scientific exploration. These centers empower children to make choices and actively engage with their surroundings, learning through interactions with peers, teachers, and their environment.

The daily schedule balances active and quiet times, gross and fine motor activities, and both child-initiated and teacher-initiated experiences. Outdoor play (weather permitting) or indoor activities are a part of each day, encouraging a connection with nature and physical movement.

Intellectual Growth:

Children are encouraged to develop self-motivation and a love for inquiry. This is achieved through asking questions, exploring, observing, and problem-solving. Our well-equipped science center serves as a hub for discovery and hands-on learning.

Social Development:

Children learn to collaborate and communicate effectively, respect the rights and privacy of others, and cultivate kindness, courtesy, helpfulness, and acceptance. Social interactions are integral to developing a strong sense of community and empathy.

Physical Development:

We provide numerous opportunities for children to enhance their gross and fine motor skills, finger strength, dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Our expansive 5-acre campus, complete with fields and two age-specific playgrounds, offers a vibrant space for physical activities. An enclosed deck is available for play on rainy days.

Emotional Development:

We encourage children to build a positive self-image, understand the concepts of right and wrong, and develop a sense of responsibility. Recognizing and appreciating individual differences is a core value we instill, fostering a community of acceptance and respect.

Integrating Tradition and Jewish Pride

At Gan Israel Preschool, Jewish life and learning are seamlessly woven into the general curriculum. This integration allows children to view the world through a Jewish lens, enriching their understanding and pride in their heritage.

During Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, children explore the traditions of dipping apples in honey and blowing the shofar through scientific investigation. They learn about apples, the process of honey production by bees, and animals with antlers. During Chanukah, when lighting the Menorah is customary, children delve into fire safety, the role of firefighters, and community helpers. This thematic approach continues throughout the year, providing meaningful experiences that instill a sense of Jewish identity and pride.
